CP Marketplace – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to CP Marketplace, a platform operated under Church Portal where Christian businesses, service providers, and creatives can sell and showcase their products and services. By using this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Use of Platform

CP Marketplace provides a platform for buying, selling, and listing both digital and physical (on-site) products.
By accessing our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have parental permission to use the site.

2. User Accounts

Users must register to purchase or list products.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
CP Marketplace reserves the right to approve or reject registrations based on membership verification policies.

3. Purchases & Payments

Online Products: Payments are processed securely via PayFast, Stripe, or another payment gateway.
On-site Products: Payments and transactions are handled directly between the buyer and vendor. CP Marketplace does not facilitate or guarantee these transactions.
Prices listed include VAT (if applicable), and vendors are responsible for accurate pricing.

4. Shipping & Collection

CP Marketplace is not liable for shipping delays, damages, or losses.
Vendors are solely responsible for delivery and pickup arrangements.

5. Returns & Refunds

Refunds for online orders are subject to each vendor’s return policy.
CP Marketplace does not process refunds; disputes must be handled between buyer and seller.
On-site purchases are bound by the terms agreed upon directly with the physical vendor.

6. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors must:

Ensure that all listings are accurate and not misleading.
Fulfill orders within the timeframe promised.
Respond to customer inquiries promptly.
Respect customer data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Prohibited Use

Users and vendors may not:

Post or sell illegal, offensive, or counterfeit items.
Misrepresent their business or product.
Attempt to exploit or hack the platform.
Spam, harass, or abuse other users.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and media on CP Marketplace belong to CP Marketplace or respective owners and may not be reused without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

CP Marketplace is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from use of the platform.
We do not guarantee the quality or legitimacy of vendor products or services.
Disputes must be resolved between buyer and seller, although we may assist where necessary.

10. Disclaimer for On-site Products

CP Marketplace provides a directory listing service only for on-site (physical store) products and vendors. We do not manage, facilitate, or monitor any purchases, deliveries, or interactions between buyers and on-site vendors.

We accept no responsibility for any claim, damage, loss, injury, or dispute arising from or in connection with any on-site product, service, appointment, or transaction initiated through our platform. All such matters are strictly between the customer and the listed vendor.

We strongly encourage users to verify the legitimacy and service standards of any business before making payment or engaging in services.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account for violation of these terms or any activity that may harm the platform or users.

12. Amendments

These terms may be updated occasionally. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
